I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you for the wonderful care that you provided for Mum. We all appreciate the kindness and high quality of support that you all provided for her. In fact many of your carers came to feel like part of the family. We met some lovely people and John and I both actually miss seeing them quite a lot, I’m sure Mum does too. Mum certainly felt very safe in their hands. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to visit Mum.

Since August 2020 we have used St Margaret’s Homecare, for me it is that I know Mum will have someone checking up on her and making sure she has something to eat – they are reliable and caring.  Margaret Bryden (Daughter)

We used St Margaret’s in the latter stages of my Father’s terminal cancer to provide overnight care and bridge the gap between Marie Curie and family support.

We contacted St Margaret’s on short notice, and on each occasion, they communicated with us clearly and concisely and provided the support we needed. The carer who stayed with my Dad overnight was personable, proficient, compassionate, warm and welcoming. The result of the services provided, was complete peace of mind to both the family and our Dad, resulting in a restful night and total confidence that St Margaret’s would look after Dad, with the love, respect and compassion that he deserved.

I could not recommend the services of St Margaret’s more positively, in our time of need, they were there to help support the family, and above all, the patient.

First I’d like to let you know how thrilled we are with the care that Mum is receiving form your team. She was a bit apprehensive at first but has settled into her new routine very quickly and keeps telling me how wonderful all the carers are. I think the icing on the cake was when she realised that she used to teach Ann which gave her a real personal connection! Thank-you so much, it’s very reassuring for me to know that Mum is in such good hands. We think we were lucky that Social Services referred us to St Margaret’s.

The St Margarets team has provided wonderful support to our Dad, Brian Gannon in Selby for the last two years.

Brian will be moving very soon but be would still like St Margarets to provide the daily visit as before. Thank you for everything you do for him.

The carer who visited on the day Dad passed away gave him a wet shave as he looked so out of charter with stubble. Dad would have being very grateful of this as he took pride in his appearance and passed looking well cared for and his usual groomed appearance.
